BSY Pays Obeisance at the Gadduge
Upon his arrival at the Siddaganga Math, Yediyurappa first visited the 'Gadduge' (holy burial site) of the late Shivakumara Swamiji and paid his respects with deep devotion. Later, he met the current head of the Math, Sri Siddalinga Swamiji, to seek his blessings.
"I Remember the Seer Every Single Day"
Speaking to reporters on the Math premises, a visibly emotional Yediyurappa expressed his deep connection to the institution. "On the auspicious occasion of the 119th birth anniversary of Paramapujya Shivakumara Swamiji, I am blessed to visit the Math. The seer's blessings have always been upon me. I do not start any work in my daily life without first remembering him and taking his name," he said.
President’s Visit Adds Prestige to the Math
Yediyurappa also expressed his joy over the high-profile guests expected for the main event tomorrow. "The President of India, Droupadi Murmu, is participating in the program. This is a highly welcoming development. The presence of the country’s First Citizen herself brings immense pride and added glory to the Sri Math," he remarked.
Bye-Elections: "We Will Win 100% in Both Seats"
Shifting gears to current political developments, Yediyurappa exuded massive confidence regarding the upcoming assembly bye-elections in the state. When asked about the battle in the Davanagere and Bagalkot constituencies, he asserted, "We are going to win 100% in both of these places."
