Bengaluru: In a tragic incident, a software engineer couple who had a love marriage ended their lives due to domestic discord in their marital life. The heart-wrenching incident took place within the limits of the Kothanur Police Station in Bengaluru. The deceased have been identified as Bhanu Chandir Reddy and Shazia, both originally hailing from Telangana.

Lovers Who Were in a Live-In Relationship!

Both Bhanu Chandir Reddy and Shazia worked as software engineers in a private firm. They were in love and had tied the knot about 9 years ago. It is reported that before their marriage, the couple had also been in a live-in relationship while residing in the same house.

Storm in Marital Life!

Despite having a love marriage, their married life was far from smooth. According to reports, frequent misunderstandings and fights used to break out between the two over petty issues after their marriage. Preliminary investigations suggest that constant family disputes and dissatisfaction with their marital life drove them to this extreme step.

Suicide One After the Other!

As the friction between them peaked, both arrived at the harsh decision to end their lives. First, the husband, Bhanu Chandir Reddy, hanged himself inside a room in his house. Witnessing her husband's death and unable to bear the severe shock and grief, his wife Shazia immediately jumped off the apartment building they were residing in and lost her life as well.

The Kothanur police rushed to the spot upon receiving the information, registered a case, and sent the bodies for post-mortem examinations. Further investigations are underway to ascertain the exact triggers behind the double suicide.
