The most significant blow to US has unfolded yesterday when Iran shot down two of US’s aircrafts, and Trump reacts and reaffirms that US is at war. This is the biggest jolt to US in Operation Epic fury in a month. The two aircrafts are F-15E and A-10 Warthog. The aircrafts were shot from ground near Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province in Soth Western Iran. One crew member was successfully rescued by U.S. Special Forces. A frantic combat search-and-rescue operation is currently underway for the second crew member, whose status unknown.

A Black Hawk helicopter participating in the rescue was hit by Iranian ground fire but managed to continue flying. Iranian state media has urged local villagers to hunt for the enemy pilot, offering bounty.

A-10 Thunderbolt 2 (Warthog) was hit by Iranian defence near Strait of Hormuz. The pilot is alive.
