Allegations by Khera
He claims Assam’s CM’s wife possesses the foreign Passports from UAE, Antigua, Barbuda and Egypt. She owns undisclosed luxury properties at Dubai, and a shell company in Wyoming, US.
Khera has further questioned how the wife of a sitting CM, who frequently targets others on nationalism, can possess dual citizenship which is illegal in Inda.
Mrs. Sarma has denied the allegation by Khera and reacting to his claim, she said, “malicious, fabricated and a result of digital manipulation”.
CM has confirmed that his wife has already filed an FIR against Pawan Khera. The couple have announced they are filing both criminal and civil defamation cases within a 48-hour window.
In a sharp retaliate today, the CM alleged that the documents used by Khera were sourced from a "Pakistani social media group" and were poorly photoshopped using AI.
