Judge Sherilyn Peace Garnett gave 180-month term after Sangha pleaded guilty in several federal charges. The charges included, distribution of ketamine resulting in death (specifically the dose that killed Perry), her North Hollywood home, which was working more like a cradle of drug peddling. The judge also observed sangha was the most notorious out of 5 accused.
The case
Investigations uncovered that Sangha sold approximately 50 vials of ketamine to Perry’s intermediaries in the days leading up to his death. On October 28, 2023, Perry’s assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, did inject the actor with ketamine supplied by Sangha.
This dose made Perry to lose consciousness and drown in his tub. After news of Perry’s death came out, Sangha arranged to delete all messages to hide her involvement.
