Don’t Let the Summer Sun Steal Your Glow: Simple Skin Care Tips!

Water is essential for healthy skin from the inside out. Drinking at least 3-4 liters of water a day keeps your skin hydrated and gives it a natural glow.

As summer arrives, skin problems often follow. Issues like sunburn, tanning, acne, and oily skin become common. To protect yourself from these, follow these essential steps:

1. Sunscreen is a Must

Whether you are indoors or heading out, apply a sunscreen with at least SPF 30 every day. It protects your skin from the sun's harmful UV rays. For the best results, apply it 20 minutes before stepping out.

2. Stay Hydrated

Water is essential for healthy skin from the inside out. Drinking at least 3-4 liters of water a day keeps your skin hydrated and gives it a natural glow.

3. Wash Your Face Twice a Day

In summer, sweat and dust can clog your skin pores. Use a mild face wash to cleanse your face twice a day; this helps in removing excess oil and impurities.

4. Use a Lightweight Moisturizer

Replace the heavy creams used in winter with water-based or gel-based moisturizers during summer. These feel light on the skin while effectively maintaining moisture.

5. Opt for Natural Face Packs

Aloe Vera: Aloe vera gel is excellent for soothing and cooling sunburnt skin.

Cucumber: Applying cucumber juice helps keep the skin feeling fresh and rejuvenated.

Curd and Honey: This mixture is very effective in removing sun tan.

Points to Remember This Summer:

Wear Loose Cotton Clothes: This allows your skin to breathe and stay cool.

Eye Protection: Use sunglasses and carry an umbrella or wear a hat when going outdoors.

Eat Fresh Fruits: Consume fruits with high water content like watermelon, oranges, and cucumbers.

Note: If your skin is experiencing severe allergies or serious issues, it is best to consult a Dermatologist immediately.
