Hyderabad: Renowned multilingual singer Mangli (Satyavathi Rathod) is once again in legal trouble. This time, serious allegations of a ₹10 crore fraud and death threats have been leveled against her, leading to the registration of an FIR in Hyderabad.
What is in the Complaint?
In a complaint filed with the police, an individual has alleged that Mangli defrauded them of approximately ₹10 crore. The complainant further stated that beyond the financial fraud, the singer issued death threats when confronted about the money.
Based on this complaint, the police have registered a case against Mangli, her brother, and three others under BNS (Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita) Sections 351 (2) and 352. An investigation is currently underway.

Satyavathi Rathod, hailing from Anantapur district, became world-famous under the name 'Mangli.' She started her career as a folk artist on TV channels and became a household name through songs representing Telangana’s culture. She entered the film industry in 2017. The song "Ramuloo Ramula" from the movie Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo brought her nationwide fame.
Having sung in several hit Kannada films, Mangli enjoys a massive fan following in Karnataka as well.
