The case was filed based on allegations that Salman Khan appeared in advertisements for the Rajshree Pan Masala brand. Earlier, the Jaipur Consumer Court had restrained certain advertisements and even issued a non-bailable warrant against the actor. Challenging this action, Salman Khan approached the High Court.

During the hearing, Salman Khan’s lawyer presented a key argument stating that the actor did not feature in any pan masala advertisement, but only participated in an advertisement for a silver-coated cardamom product.
