NASHIK: Allegations of systematic harassment and attempted religious conversion of Hindu employees at the Nashik branch of the prestigious IT firm TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) have sent shockwaves across the country. As the police intensify their investigation into this dark network, victimized employees are coming forward with one terrifying detail after another.
Police Operation in Disguise
To uncover the illegal activities occurring within the organization, female police officers conducted a sting operation by posing as housekeeping staff. Through this, they gathered evidence of the atrocities being committed against employees. So far, nine FIRs have been registered. The occurrence of such acts within the BPO division of India's largest software firm has sparked serious concern.
Victims' Statements: Bone-Chilling Revelations
The complaints filed by employees who quit due to the harassment, as well as those currently employed, are heart-wrenching:
Obscene Remarks About Wife: "A Team Leader, who used to mock me because I don't have children, told me in a derogatory manner—'If you want a child, send your wife to me,'" shared a traumatized employee.
Forced Prayer (Namaz): It has been alleged that Hindu employees were forced to perform Namaz in the office and were pressured to wear skullcaps.
Punishment on the Terrace: Female employees were reportedly isolated in separate rooms or on the terrace without any contact with the outside world to torture them mentally. They were threatened that their careers would be ruined if they did not resign.
Nine Arrested, Including HR Official
The Maharashtra Police have arrested nine individuals in connection with this case so far. Among those arrested is Nida Khan, an HR official and CEO, who is allegedly the mastermind behind the racket.
List of Arrested Individuals:
Nida Khan (HR)
Tausif Attar
Danish Sheikh
Raja Memon
Shahrukh Qureshi
Shafi Sheikh
Asif Aftab Ansari, and others.
The Modus Operandi
According to reports, the accused would first befriend employees and then gradually pressure them to convert. If employees refused, false complaints were fabricated against them at the headquarters to get them terminated. The investigation revealed the shocking truth that this harassment continued systematically from 2022 until March 2026. Currently, the police are digging deeper into the case, and more victims are expected to come forward with complaints.
