True to the proverb "many drops make an ocean," Vishalakshi deposited every installment of her Gruhalakshmi money into her bank account.

The Gruhalakshmi scheme of the State Government has become a lifeline for many families, and a recent success story from Vijayanagara district stands as a testament to this. By diligently saving the ₹2,000 received every month instead of spending it unnecessarily, a woman has built a self-reliant life and turned entrepreneur.
