"No Opportunities for Ordinary Women"
"For the Congress party, it seems only Indira Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi qualify as women. This party has snatched away the rights and opportunities that should belong to ordinary women," Ms. C. Manjula said, expressing her outrage.
"The women of India are not just flowers; we are the flames that rise against injustice. We will demonstrate this through our struggle."
— Ms. C. Manjula, State President, Mahila Morcha.
Criticizing the Congress for what she described as a history of anti-woman attitudes, she stated that the agitation would be taken to the grassroots level in the coming days.
