Bengaluru: In a bizarre incident reported under the Bagalagunte Police Station limits, a woman who stepped out of her house claiming to "throw out the trash" has gone missing with her lover. The CCTV footage of her exit has now gone viral on social media, sparking intense discussion.
The Exit: A Dustbin in One Hand, a Suitcase in the Other
Priyanka and Sharath Kumar, a couple residing in Bagalagunte, have two children. On the night of April 11, around 11:57 PM, Priyanka stepped out of the house carrying a garbage bucket in one hand and a bag filled with clothes in the other. Her husband, who assumed she was simply performing a nightly chore, had no inkling that she was actually leaving the home to join her lover.
Betrayal via Sleeping Pills?
Sharath Kumar has filed a formal police complaint regarding his missing wife, leveling serious allegations. He claims that Priyanka executed her plan while he was right there in the house. Sharath alleges that before leaving, his wife spiked his dinner with sleeping pills. This caused him to fall into a deep unconsciousness, during which she made her escape.
Key Highlights of the Incident:
The Accused Lover: Sharath has named Prabhu, who runs a local barber shop (cutting shop) in the same area, as the person his wife fled with.
The 'Currency' Conflict: It is alleged that Prabhu used to pay for Priyanka’s mobile recharges. This had led to frequent arguments between the couple in the past.
Ignored Warnings: Despite Sharath discovering the affair and advising his wife multiple times to mend her ways, Priyanka allegedly maintained her secret contact with Prabhu.
Caught on CCTV
The local CCTV cameras captured Priyanka walking down the street at midnight, clutching her bag and the garbage bucket. Using this footage as evidence, Sharath has approached the authorities for help.
The Husband’s Plea:
"She has abandoned our children and drugged me to run away. I request the police to track down my wife and her lover and ensure justice is served."
Police Investigation Underway
Based on Sharath's complaint, a case has been registered at the Bagalagunte Police Station. The police have launched a manhunt to track down Priyanka and Prabhu. Meanwhile, locals have expressed outrage over a mother abandoning her two young children. This incident serves as a grim example of how domestic discord and illicit affairs can tear families apart and bring them to the streets.
