Hassan: A tragic incident has occurred in Hassan where a young woman working as a software engineer passed away suddenly. Shwetha B.G. (25), who had slipped into a coma due to a severe brain hemorrhage, breathed her last at the hospital after failing to respond to treatment.

Background of the Incident

Shwetha, the daughter of Gangadhar and Saroja from Bandilakkanakoppalu village in Belur Taluk, Hassan district, had been working as a software engineer at MagnaSoft in Hassan for the past three years. On the evening of Friday, April 25, Shwetha suddenly collapsed while at home. She was immediately rushed to the hospital, but she had already slipped into a coma by the time she arrived. Upon examination, doctors discovered that she had suffered a severe brain hemorrhage.

Organ Donation Efforts Meet with Disappointment

During the course of her treatment, doctors confirmed that Shwetha was brain dead. Despite their immense pain, her parents made the noble decision to donate her organs to give a lease of life to others. However, it is reported that due to technical reasons or medical complications, the organ donation could not be carried out. This has left the parents in further despair and sorrow.

A Family in Shock

The untimely death of a young daughter has left the family inconsolable. A shroud of grief has enveloped the village, as the parents struggle to come to terms with the sudden loss of their daughter, whom they had supported through her education and career in the IT sector.
