End of the Road for Salim Dola: Dawood's Trusted Drug Lord Nabbed & Deported from Turkey

NCB Strikes: Salim Dola, Dawood’s Drug Lord, Nabbed in Turkey!

Lethargic, but precisive, Narcotics Control Bureau has finally caught the drug kingpin Salim Doha (59), a high-profile drug kingpin and trusted aide of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, was deported to India from Turkey. Dola was detained on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in the Beylikdüzü district of Istanbul. The operation was a collaboration between Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization and the Istanbul Police’s Narcotics Crimes Division, acting on technical surveillance and inputs from Indian agencies. After the arrest, he was processed for deportation and flown to the Delhi Technical Airport on a special aircraft. He is presently being interrogated by central intelligence agencies and the CBI before being transferred to the Mumbai Police and the NCB.

Dola is supposed to be the main architect of the "D-Company's" synthetic drug empire. He is apparently responsible for a massive international trafficking network of Mephedrone and other synthetic substances across India, the Middle East, and Europe.

The Fugitive was on run from 2018, since then Interpol had issued a Red Corner Notice against him at the request of the CBI. His name reappeared during a 2024 investigation into a massive drug syndicate where the Mumbai Police and Sangli Police had jointly seized 126 kg of Mephedrone worth over ₹252 crore. Loos like the crime is in their DNA, as his son, Tahir Salim Dola, was similarly deported from the UAE last year in connection with the same drug distribution network. Dola has criminal track record from 1998, and he was involved smuggling Mandrax tablets and gutka worth crores. He used forged UAE identity documents to move across borders undetected until his recent capture. J and K : The "Statehood" Smoke Screen: National Security Cannot Be Negotiated

His capture has given a crippling blow to Dawood's financial and logistical infrastructure. Authorities believe Dola's interrogation will yield crucial information on hawala channels and the "sleeper cell" style logistics the D-Company uses to move narcotics and illegal funds into India.
