From Intellectual Hub to Radical Hell: The Fall of West Bengal

The Great Cleanup: 2,500 Arrests in 60 Hours Shakes Bengal

Kolkata : WB election has staged a horrifying reality of failed democracy, when the power goes in the wrong hands, the disasters are bound to happen. Five decades of law-less-ness has turned the state into hell of illegal immigrants, no expression can depict the actual horrors of Mamata’s muscle flexing. Amit Shah did not go to Kashmir when he abrogated the two articles, but the WB status is so agonising, he had to be stationed their to do the policing, forgetting he is the HM!!!! Can’t believe the state which was once called the intellectual expression of India, today has turned into the hell of radicles and fundamentalists. TMC’s shameless reaction clearly indicates, crime is legitimised and legalised in WB.

In a massive crackdown aimed at stabilizing the state during the final phases of the 2026 Assembly elections, security forces have executed a sweeping operation across West Bengal. In just 60 hours, more than 2,500 individuals, significantly, were TMC’s so called workers. The TMC goons were taken to custody, yesterday.

The Election Commission, in coordination with the Ministry of Home Affairs, authorized a "zero-tolerance" sweep. This resulted in the arrest of over 2,500 people linked to electoral malpractice, intimidation, and recent acts of violence!!!  The majority of arrests happened in highly volatile districts, including North and South 24 Parganas, Hooghly, and Nadia, where polling has been stained by reports of booth jamming and attacks on opposition agents.

A significant portion of these arrests are "preventive," targeting individuals with prior criminal records or those identified by intelligence agencies as potential "booth capturers" before they could influence the concluding hours of polling.

During these raids, police and Central Forces reportedly seized a substantial cache of illegal arms, crude bombs, and "election kits" (designed for proxy voting) from several TMC local offices and private residences. Survival, Sovereignty, and the Strait: Iran’s Ultimatum

The TMC leadership has fervently condemned the move, calling it a "political witch-hunt" orchestrated by the BJP-led Centre using the Election Commission as a tool. They argue that their grassroots workers are being "abducted" to clear the way for BJP booth agents.

That’s very shameless of you Mamata Begam, Mahua Moitra…...
