Police said the accused is originally from Kerala and was working in a private company in Bengaluru. It was also revealed that Karthik was staying in a rented house next to the complainant’s residence.

Bengaluru: Mahadevapura police have arrested a man for allegedly attempting to record a video of a techie woman while she was taking a bath at her residence. The incident took place on April 30 at Ashraya Layout in Garudacharpalya.

The victim, a software engineer working at a private company, had returned home after work and went to take a bath at around 9:30 PM. During that time, she noticed someone recording a video on a mobile phone near the bathroom window.

Shocked by the incident, the woman screamed for help, following which the accused fled the spot with the mobile phone.

The victim later filed a complaint at the Mahadevapura Police Station. Based on the complaint, police launched an investigation and arrested the accused, identified as Karthik.

Police said the accused is originally from Kerala and was working in a private company in Bengaluru. It was also revealed that Karthik was staying in a rented house next to the complainant’s residence. A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
