RAMANAGARA: In a significant statement made here, Member of Parliament Dr. C.N. Manjunath addressed the ongoing political high drama in West Bengal and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to Karnataka. He lambasted Mamata Banerjee’s "stubbornness," labeling it as unconstitutional.

Speaking on the current situation in West Bengal, the MP stated, "The term of the Legislative Assembly there has ended. By law, she must resign voluntarily; otherwise, the Governor will automatically initiate action. On May 9, at 11:00 AM, the BJP Chief Minister will take the oath of office in West Bengal."He further attacked Mamata Banerjee, saying that if there were issues with the election, one should approach the court instead of being "stubborn."

TMC Violence Condemnable: CRPF Guard for 6 Months

Condemning the murder of Suvendu Adhikari’s PA, he noted that over 400 cases of violence have already been recorded in Bengal. "TMC inciting violence even after losing is an anti-constitutional stance. Consequently, even after the BJP comes to power, CRPF personnel have been deployed there for six months as a precautionary measure. A new chapter is set to begin in West Bengal from now on," he said.

Providing details about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Karnataka, the MP said, "PM Modi is arriving in the state on May 10. First, he will address party workers at HAL, where the State BJP will accord him a grand felicitation. Later, he will travel to the Art of Living Ashram on Kanakapura Road to participate in the 70th birthday celebrations of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Guruji."
