Chikkaballapur: Students of the prestigious Nagarjuna Engineering College in the district have engaged in an act of hooliganism. A group of students assaulted police officers who had gone to advise them regarding a bike silencer issue, leading to the registration of an FIR.

Background of the Incident:

Near Nagarjuna College, students were causing a public nuisance by using modified, loud-sounding silencers on their bikes. The police officers present at the scene warned the students not to use such noisy silencers. This minor issue escalated, and the students turned on the police officers.

Group Attack on Police:

A group of seven to eight students assaulted ASI Gangaraju and PC Gangaraju, who were on duty at the Nandigiridhama Police Station. Despite the ASI being in uniform, the students showed no regard and displayed arrogance.

FIR Registered:

A case has been registered at the Nandigiridhama Police Station in connection with this incident. An FIR has been filed against several individuals, including Nagarjuna College students Rajesh and Jaswanth.
