The camp was held at a local school in Kollegal town, for as a summer "Prashikshana Shibir" (training camp) for young students and volunteers.
After receiving information about the gathering, Inspector Shivamadaiah and PSI Varsha arrived at the site. They asked the organizers to produce the mandatory permissions required for holding such a large-scale event involving students.
When the organizers failed to provide the documentation, the police ordered the activities to be suspended immediately. This led to a heated exchange between the police and the RSS functionaries, causing the situation to grow tense.
