Kalaburagi: An anonymous acid attack threat letter sent to the Vice-Chancellor of Gulbarga University, Prof. Shashikanth S. Udikeri, has sent shockwaves through the academic community. It is understood that this threat was issued in retaliation for strict measures taken regarding a B.Ed evaluation scam.

Discontent: The perpetrators expressed dissatisfaction with the decisions of the fact-finding committee and the re-evaluation process.
Financial Stakes: The letter states that they secured B.Ed admissions by paying two lakh rupees and have been waiting for results for two years.
