Happy Ending to Love Story: Stepping into Married Life at a Mass Marriage!
The marriage of Priya, a young woman from a Christian family in Hanumantha Nagar, Seegebagi, has been fixed with M. Shivakumar, a resident of Antaragange in Bhadravathi taluk. The Vishva Hindu Parishad has organized a free mass marriage ceremony on May 24. During this auspicious event, the couple, Shivakumar and Priya, will step into their married life together.
Priya Voluntarily Returns to Hinduism
Since the mass marriage ceremony will be conducted entirely according to Hindu traditions and rituals, Priya voluntarily expressed her desire to convert to Hinduism. Priya's family originally belonged to the Hindu faith. However, due to certain reasons in the past, her family had converted to Christianity. Now, Priya has returned to her original faith.

Religious Rituals Performed Tradition-Wise
The 'Ghar Wapsi' ceremony took place at the Sri Mahaganapathi Temple in Jannapura, Bhadravathi. The religious rituals were traditionally performed under the priesthood of Veda Brahma Krishnamurthi Somayaji, the founding president of the Dharma Jagarana Archakara Mahasabha. Priya was welcomed into Sanatana Hindu Dharma through sacred rituals, including homa-havana (fire rituals) and purification processes.
Vishva Hindu Parishad's Reaction: "It is welcoming that those who went to other religions due to various reasons are understanding their original culture and faith, and are returning voluntarily. This couple will be married traditionally during the mass marriage ceremony scheduled for May 24," the organizers stated. With Priya returning to her original faith, all preparations are now underway in Bhadravathi for the wedding of the couple.
