Murder Accused Out on Bail Threaten Victim’s Family to 'Vacate House'; Yashwanthpur Police Ask Terrified Family for 'Proof'

Disgusted and helpless over the attitude of the Yashwanthpur police, the family of the deceased youth has now directly lodged a complaint with the Bengaluru City Police Commissioner, begging for justice and protection.

Bengaluru: In a shocking incident in the capital, criminals who allegedly chased down and brutally murdered a youth in broad daylight have now come out on bail and are issuing death threats to the victim's family. Caught between the terrifying threats of the killers on one side and police negligence on the other, the grieving family has now approached the Police Commissioner's office in tears. Serious allegations have been leveled against the Yashwanthpur Police Station, sparking widespread public outrage over the department's handling of the matter.

What Happened That Day?

On November 11th, a youth named Narasimha alias Konda was brutally murdered in Mutyalanagar. The dispute had initially erupted over a monetary transaction involving a woman. Driven by this animosity, a gang of five to six people barged into Narasimha's house, chased him down in the middle of the road, and assaulted him savagely. Tragically, Narasimha succumbed to his severe injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital.

How Did They Get Bail in Just Three Months?

The victim's family has made grave allegations against the Yashwanthpur police, claiming they failed to conduct a proper investigation into the murder case. The police allegedly showed sheer negligence by not gathering adequate and strong evidence. The family expressed intense fury, stating that due to this irresponsible handling by the police, the accused individuals managed to secure bail and walk free in just three months.

'Vacate the House, Withdraw the Case' Demand the Rogues!

Since their release from prison, the murder accused have been relentlessly pursuing Narasimha's family. They are issuing life-threatening ultimatums, saying, "Withdraw the case immediately, or we will not spare you." Furthermore, they are reportedly terrorizing the family to pack up and vacate their home.

"How Can We Provide Proof of Them Threatening Us?"

When the terror-stricken family went to the Yashwanthpur police seeking protection, another shock awaited them. Instead of arresting the accused and providing security, the police allegedly questioned them back, saying, "First provide proof that they are threatening you." "They ambush us suddenly, threaten our lives, and leave. How is it possible for us to record and provide evidence of that in the heat of the moment? If the police, who are supposed to give us justice, behave like this, where should we go?" the family of Narasimha wept. Disgusted and helpless over the attitude of the Yashwanthpur police, the family of the deceased youth has now directly lodged a complaint with the Bengaluru City Police Commissioner, begging for justice and protection.
