Standoff in the Open: Rubio's warnings spark a fierce verbal clash with Tehran

Delhi Duel: Iran claps back at US nuclear demands from India.

New Delhi: Though the Operation Epic Fury has come to a vague and unclear situation, and nether US nor Iran are making any concrete moves or statements, Iran has attacked US in a verbal clash, from India.  The Iranian Embassy in New Delhi, India, has issued a strong and blunt statement rejecting remarks made by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio regarding Tehran’s nuclear stockpile and regional maritime security. During an official visit to India, Rubio had earlier stated that progress was made on regional talks but emphasized that Iran can never have nuclear weapons and demanded that Tehran turn over the highly enriched uranium.

Responding to the statement, the Iranian Embassy accused the U.S. of attempting to distort the realities of the region and deflect attention from its own destabilizing policies. The embassy restated that as a committed member of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of nuclear weapons (NPT), Iran's nuclear program remains entirely peaceful. They highlighted that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has neither observed nor reported any diversion in Iran's nuclear activities.

Iran reiterated, that the peaceful use of nuclear science and technology is a legitimate and inalienable right that the nation will never relinquish. Iran blamed unlawful and unjust U.S. sanctions for holding the global energy market hostage, it added, that Tehran has always been ready to supply energy resources to nations like India. Speaking about maritime security tensions, the embassy spun the narrative, claiming that the primary threats to shipping lanes in the Strait of Hormuz are the military, provocative, and adventurist actions of the U.S. and Israel. While Rubio implied that broader diplomatic work and progress are happening behind the scenes to resolve the stalemate, the public exchange emphasizes the deep, lingering friction between Washington and Tehran over uranium enrichment and economic sanctions. The situation is out of control for both Iran and US, but they are not able to come to terms with each other on any issues.
