Congress Ignored Kaka Kalelkar Report to Keep Backward Classes Suppressed: Bhupender Yadav's Allegation

The Constitution, as envisaged by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, mandates that socially and educationally backward classes be identified. To further this aim, the Kaka Kalelkar Commission was formed. However, Union Minister for Environment, Forests and Climate Change Bhupender Yadav today accused the Congress party of deliberately ignoring the Commission’s recommendations to prevent backward classes from advancing socially and educationally.
