The rape case against Kannada actor Madenuru Manu, who was arrested and later released on bail, has now been resolved. Manu and the complainant have settled the matter through discussions in the court premises, leading to the case’s closure. The complainant has withdrawn her allegations, ensuring no further legal action will be taken.

Speaking to the media, Manu claimed the accusations were part of a conspiracy against him, alleging that certain individuals orchestrated false claims. He further stated that he was pressured to make false statements against actors Shivanna, Dhruva Sarja, and Darshan. According to Manu, a person named Alok stole his mobile phone, and he admitted to consuming alcohol for three days at the complainant’s residence. He emphasized that he had no intention of harming anyone for money or fame.
