To Survive in the AI Era, Learning It Is the Only Way!

Today, we live in what we call the “Digital Era.” But this Digital Era is quickly being pushed towards an even faster, more transformative AI Era (Artificial Intelligence Era)—a reality of our times. AI is no longer just a tool for the tech world; it has expanded into our jobs, lifestyles, businesses, education, healthcare, and even the arts.

However, along with the growth of AI’s power, a fear has also emerged: “Will AI take away our jobs?” The truth is yes, in some cases, it can. Between 2023 and 2025, many companies across the globe, especially in the tech sector, laid off thousands of employees. For example, leading Indian IT companies like TCS have restructured their operations to reduce costs and shift towards AI, Automation, and Machine Learning. Global giants like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon have also let go of thousands of workers.

One major reason behind this change is that repetitive, rule-based, and easily automatable tasks can be done by AI faster and at a lower cost. For instance, data entry, simple code writing, and basic customer support can now be handled effortlessly by AI. As a result, many people who used to perform such tasks have faced job losses.

But here’s the important lesson—fearing AI will not save your job; learning AI will secure your future. Those who know how to use AI, control it, and develop new products and services with it will always be in demand.

Benefits of learning AI:

  • New job opportunities – Roles in AI, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, and related fields are growing every day.

  • Entrepreneurship potential – Using AI tools, you can start your own business, offer freelance services, and grow in fields like digital marketing.

  • Career growth – Employees who upskill with AI knowledge can take technical leadership positions in their teams.

  • Financial freedom – AI-based services reach more people at lower costs, opening new income streams.

AI, Coding, Space – Women’s Footprints Everywhere.

For example, in TCS, some employees chose to upskill in AI Automation projects. They learned Automation, AI Model Development, and Data Analysis skills. As a result, they moved into more important roles within the company, avoided layoffs, and even increased their salaries.
