A special event held at Udupi Sri Krishna Matha on Saturday, August 9, left everyone in awe. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Sudha Murthy participated in divine worship, performing various services that drew the nation’s attention.

Alongside revered devotees of the Swamiji, Nirmala Sitharaman and Sudha Murthy took part in the ongoing Vishwa Gita Paryaya at Udupi Sri Krishna Matha. They devotedly cleaned the silver utensils used daily for Sri Krishna’s worship and performed the Hosthilu Pooja.

In the Chandrashala, both Sudha Murthy and Nirmala Sitharaman inscribed Hosthilu, sang the Dwadasha Stotra, and offered their devotion to the deity. They also wrote Hosthilu brought from Delhi at the Mahadwara and Simhasana gates, performing Lakshmi Pooja.

Both engaged in the heartwarming task of washing utensils as part of their devotional service. The Matha presented them with sacred offerings, and special prasad was distributed at the Sarvajna Peetha. The minister offered avalakki (flattened rice) brought from home as part of the worship to the deity.
