Mysuru: Dasara Elephants’ Weight Test: Bhima Secures First Place as Heaviest Elephant at 5,465 kg

With Mysuru Dasara approaching, preparations are in full swing. Today, a weight test for the Dasara elephants was conducted at Mysuru’s Dhanvantari Road. Bhima, weighing an impressive 5,465 kg, emerged as the heaviest elephant, securing first place, while Captain Abhimanyu, at 5,360 kg, took second place. The test ensures the elephants are fit to carry the ambari during the iconic Jumboo Savari.
