Bengaluru: Yesterday, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Bengaluru for the inauguration of the Metro and Vande Bharat train, complaints have emerged from various quarters alleging that Bengaluru city police ignored their duties toward public safety.
It is being alleged that at the time of Modi’s arrival, Bengaluru Police neglected their responsibilities. While the Prime Minister was en route, City Police Commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh was seen cutting a cake right on the roadside, thereby ignoring his official duty.
Instead of focusing on security arrangements, officers reportedly participated in the cake-cutting event, which was allegedly organized by Whitefield Sub-Division ACP Reena Suvarna.
