Is the One We Worship in Kashi Truly Vishwanath? Where is the Real Jyotirlinga?

Kashi is home to many types of Shivlings, each with unique worship methods. Among them, the Vishwanath Ling is the most significant and revered. Surrounding the Kashi Vishwanath Jyotirlinga are several other Shivlings, whose names and importance have evolved over time. Scriptures describe the methods to please these deities, but the Skanda Purana’s Kashi Khanda affirms the supreme importance of the Vishwanath Jyotirlinga.
