Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar’s Indian production banner, GMB Entertainment, has unveiled the first look of the new Telugu film Rao Bahadur. The film is directed by acclaimed filmmaker and producer Venkatesh Maha.

Satya Dev stars in the titular role of this psychological drama, which presents the story of a wealthy royal family from a unique and profound perspective. The film’s posters are opulently designed, emphasizing the internal struggles and depth of the characters.

Venkatesh Maha, already renowned for films like C/o Kancharapalem and Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya, is writing, directing, and editing Rao Bahadur. The producers describe the film as “a Telugu story crafted for the world,” raising expectations that it will resonate with international audiences.

The first glimpse of Rao Bahadur, titled “Not Even a Teaser,” will be released on digital platforms on August 15, coinciding with India’s Independence Day.

Speaking about his role, Satya Dev revealed that he spent five hours in makeup each morning to fully immerse himself in the character. “I’m not just playing Rao Bahadur; I’m living his life,” he said.

Recently, Satya Dev starred alongside Vijay Deverakonda in Kingdom. Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu’s next project, SSMB29, directed by RRR filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli, will feature him acting alongside Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
