In the Renukaswamy murder case, the Supreme Court has canceled the bail of seven accused, including actor Darshan. The Karnataka police had challenged the Karnataka High Court’s bail order by filing a petition in the Supreme Court. After intense arguments, the Supreme Court issued an order to cancel the bail of all seven individuals.
Despite multiple arguments from Darshan’s legal team, the Supreme Court appeared determined to rule against him from the start. This has created a challenging situation for Darshan and his associates. Additionally, a photo of the lawyers who fought to cancel Darshan’s bail has gone viral.
With the bail canceled, Darshan and Pavithra Gowda must surrender to the court. They are expected to face at least six months in jail. During this period, they will remain in custody.
Although there is an option to appeal to a three-judge bench to challenge the Supreme Court’s order, reports suggest the chances of it being accepted are slim. As a result, Darshan and his associates are now looking at an estimated six months in jail. They may apply for bail again after six months if circumstances change.

Since the case dates back about 14 months, the Supreme Court has instructed the trial court to expedite the evidence review process. Given the seriousness of the murder case, the court has emphasized swift action, signaling tough times ahead for Darshan and his associates.
Along with Darshan, the bail of Pavithra Gowda, Jagga, Anu, Pradoosh, Nagaraju, and Lakshman has been canceled. Despite Darshan being busy with the shooting of his film Devil, this verdict has come as a major shock to his life.
