Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, along with four other accused in the Renukaswamy murder case, have been assigned undertrial prisoner numbers. Pavithra Gowda, the prime accused, has been assigned number 7313, Darshan 7314, Nagaraj 7315, Lakshman 7316, and Pradosh 7317. As the primary accused, Pavithra Gowda received the first number. On August 14, 2025, the Supreme Court canceled the bail of seven accused, including Darshan. Following the bail cancellation, Darshan was arrested from his wife’s residence in Hosakerehalli, Bengaluru, and produced before the court. Darshan and Pavithra are likely to meet their family members on Saturday. Darshan and three other accused are currently quarantined in the same barrack, with a possible transfer to the main barrack later. Reports indicate that Pradosh, one of the accused, is emotional and in tears over the situation. It is also noted that Darshan stayed awake last night, engaging in conversations with co-accused.
