Gunn has stated in Peacemaker Season 2 that he has made significant progress in shaping the next story for Clark Kent and his adventures.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Gunn said, “I’ve finalized the plan for what I call the next chapter of the Superman saga. It’s not a direct sequel, but an extended story involving the Superman character, and I have a strong vision for the next chapter.” He added, “The plan is fully ready, and we are now moving it to the production phase.”

Currently, Peacemaker Season 2, Creature Commandos, and Superman are the official next chapters of the DC Universe. Additionally, Gunn confirmed that a series centered on Amanda Waller, titled Waller, is in development. He said, “We are working on it. I’m excited to see the moment when Viola appears in Amanda Waller’s iconic outfits.”
