The highly anticipated movie Param Sundari, starring Siddharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, has gotten entangled in controversy even before its release. Although the trailer and songs have received good responses, one particular scene is causing trouble for the film.

According to a Mid-Day report, the Christian organization Watchdog Foundation has expressed strong objections to a love scene set inside a church in the film. They claim that this scene offends Catholic sentiments and have demanded that it be removed from the trailer, songs, and all promotional materials.

The organization has written letters to the Mumbai Police, the Censor Board (CBFC), the Information and Broadcasting Department, and the Maharashtra Government, urging them to take action. They have also questioned how the Censor Board approved this scene. If the demand is not accepted, they have stated that public protests will be held.

Additionally, an FIR has been filed against the producer, director, and actors under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Directed by Tushar Jalota and produced under Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films banner, this movie was originally scheduled for release on July 25, 2025. However, the release date has now been postponed to August 29, 2025.
