The MLA's statement has been accused of violating party discipline, and he has been asked to submit a response within seven days.During a conversation with the media in Davangere, Channagiri MLA Basavaraj Shivaganga stated that Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar would become the Chief Minister by December. MLAs must strictly adhere to party discipline. Making unnecessary statements outside the framework causes confusion within the party. Shivaganga's statement is a violation of discipline, and therefore, a notice will be issued to him," Shivakumar told the media in Davangere.The Congress high command had previously instructed MLAs not to make public statements about internal party matters. However, Shivaganga and a few other MLAs have repeatedly spoken about a potential change in the Chief Minister, causing embarrassment to the party.
