On this Independence Day, Bollywood actor Sunny Deol unveiled the poster for his new film Border 2. This is a continuation of the 1997 film Border, which was based on the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War. The original film was a massive box-office success and became a symbol of patriotism.
In the new poster, Sunny Deol appears in a powerful and valiant soldier avatar, embodying the bravery of the armed forces. Holding a bazooka with a piercing gaze directed at the enemy, he is seen alongside soldiers proudly carrying the national flag. Sharing the poster on social media, Deol wrote, “Hindustan ke liye ladenge… phir ek baar!” (We will fight for India… once again!), also announcing the film’s release date. Border 2 is set to hit theaters on January 22, 2026.
