Sowjanya Case: SIT Investigation in Bengaluru - Key Evidence Recorded, Eyewitness Account Emerges After 13 Years!

The Sowjanya case has taken new twists, with protests and demands for a thorough investigation on one side, and new developments in the case on the other.

A major event unfolded in Dharmasthala, where top BJP leaders gathered for a massive rally, demanding that the case be handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The "Dharma Jagruti and Anti-Conspiracy Rally" saw the participation of leaders like B.Y. Vijayendra, Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, R. Ashoka, Sadananda Gowda, Vishweshwara Heggade Kageri, Ravi Kumar. They unanimously alleged that the case is a conspiracy against Dharmasthala and its Dharmadhikari, with a clear religious and political motive.

Coinciding with the rally, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has made significant progress in its investigation in Bengaluru. The SIT conducted a search ("Mahajar") and collected crucial documents at the residence of T. Jayanth, who is believed to be the link to the "Burude Gang" involved in giving misleading statements.

The SIT suspects that videos were created under the direction of a person named Mattanna to mislead the investigation. The SIT also continued its questioning of Chinnayya, another key individual in the case. Sources say that based on the information gathered, notices will soon be issued to the masterminds behind the conspiracy.

In a dramatic turn of events, a female eyewitness has come forward after 13 years, stating that she has never seen Santhosh Rao, the accused in the Sowjanya murder case. This new statement could provide a major breakthrough in the case.

These developments have given the Sowjanya case a new and serious dimension. The growing demand to transfer the case to the NIA and the government's stance on the matter remain a subject of intense public and political interest.
