Shocking Burglary Hits Five Flats in Kharar Society in Broad Daylight

In a brazen incident, thieves targeted five flats simultaneously in the Kendriya Vihar-1 housing society in Sector 125, Sunny Enclave, Kharar, Mohali, between 12 pm and 4 pm on Saturday, August 30, 2025. Striking when residents were away at work, the burglars ransacked the flats, leaving belongings scattered and stealing cash and jewelry. The theft has sparked concerns over the society's security measures, with Kharar DSP Karan Singh Sandhu leading an investigation. Suspicion points to drug addicts familiar with the area, while CCTV footage and security personnel are under scrutiny.
