Kannada cinema’s “Abhinaya Chakravarthy” (Emperor of Acting) Sudeep celebrated his 52nd birthday in style. On this special occasion, he treated fans with a grand gift — the official title and teaser of his 47th film. What was earlier called K47 is now officially titled Mark.

Directed by Vijay Kartikeyan, who also helmed Sudeep’s previous film Max, Mark will feature the star as “Ajay Markande.” The film is produced by Sathya Jyothi Films along with Sudeep’s wife Priya Sudeep as part of the production team. The film’s title and teaser were unveiled on Sudeep’s birthday, with its theatrical release set for December 25.

Notably, Sathya Jyothi Films — a popular Tamil production house — has returned to Kannada cinema after 39 years, making this project even more special. Fans are eagerly awaiting Mark, which promises to be a landmark in Sudeep’s career.

This also marks Sudeep’s first birthday without his mother. Sharing his emotions, he said: “In my mother’s name, I have adopted a park and planted saplings. This gives me happiness.”
