Tumkur: A political firestorm has erupted in Karnataka's Tumkuru district after Congress MLA H.C. Balakrishna claimed that former minister K.N. Rajanna has already applied to join the BJP. Balakrishna’s statement has created a stir in state politics. He alleged that Rajanna is making accusations against him before switching parties.
"BJP leaders are welcoming Rajanna; he already has one foot in the BJP," Balakrishna said. "He will definitely join the BJP, 100%. If our party wasn't in power, he would have already joined by now."
Rajanna Hits Back -
K.N. Rajanna quickly responded to the allegations, strongly denying them. Speaking to the media in Tumkuru, he affirmed his loyalty to the Congress party. "The Congress party has never betrayed me," he said. "I will not leave the party under any circumstances." In a sharp retort to Balakrishna, Rajanna questioned the basis of the claims. "Who said I am going to the BJP? Let Balakrishna say whatever he wants. He should get his brain mapped if he wants," Rajanna stated, using a dismissive tone. With this, he firmly dismissed the rumors about him joining the BJP.
