The internal turmoil within the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party intensified on Wednesday as suspended BRS leader K. Kavitha resigned from her primary party membership and her position as a Member of the Legislative Council (MLC). Kavitha, the daughter of BRS founder and former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), stated that her sudden suspension from the party was the reason behind her decision.

In a press release, Kavitha formally announced her resignation. "I am submitting my resignation from the MLC position and the primary membership of the party," she stated. "I am sending my resignation letters to the chairman and K. Chandrashekar Rao." She clarified that she has no immediate plans to join any other party and will decide her next steps after consulting with members of the Telangana Jagruthi.

Family Feud and Political Conspiracy -

Kavitha alleged a conspiracy to create a rift within her family. She said, "KCR and KTR are my family. We are bound by blood. My suspension from the party will not break this bond. However, some individuals are seeking the downfall of our family for their personal and political gain." She specifically accused Telangana's current Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and BRS leader Harish Rao of conspiring against her family.

"I appeal to my father to be cautious of the party leaders around him," Kavitha said. "I have spoken to him directly about this. Revanth Reddy and Harish Rao are conspiring to destroy our family." Kavitha also raised questions about the ongoing investigations, particularly regarding the Kaleshwaram project. "Harish Rao was the irrigation minister when the Kaleshwaram project was initiated, but his name has not surfaced in any cases. Why were cases filed only against my family members?" she questioned, hinting at a larger political vendetta.
