SIIMA 2025 Dubai Awards List Released: Cinema Stars Celebrate... Which Films Won Awards?

On the first day of SIIMA 2025 held in Dubai, Kannada films Max, Gowri, and Shakhakaari bagged awards, while Telugu films Pushpa 2: The Rule and Kalki 2898 AD dominated the honors. Stars like Sudeep, Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Kamal Haasan were celebrated for their remarkable achievements.

The first day of the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2025, held in Dubai, saw the announcement of awards for Kannada and Telugu cinema. In the Kannada category, films like Max, starring Kichcha Sudeep, won multiple awards across various categories.

B. Ajaneesh Loknath won Best Music Director for Max, while Jack Singham secured Best Actor in a Comic Role for Bheema. Sandeep Sunkad was honored with Best Debutant Director for Shakhakaari.

Samarjit Lankesh clinched Best Debutant Actor for Gowri, and Sanya Iyer received the Promising Newcomer award for the same film. Ankita Amar was awarded Best Debutant Actress for Ibbani Tabbida Ileyali. V. Harikrishna earned a Special Award for Song Design of the Year at SIIMA 2025. Srivathsan Selvarajan won Best Cinematographer for Ibbani Tabbida Ileyali. Aishwarya Rangarajan was honored as Best Playback Singer (Female), V. Nagendra Prasad as Best Lyric Writer, and Jaskaran as Best Playback Singer (Male).

In the Telugu category, Pushpa 2: The Rule saw Allu Arjun winning Best Actor and Rashmika Mandanna securing Best Actress. Director Sukumar was awarded Best Director for the same film. Kalki 2898 AD bagged the prestigious Best Film award.

Kamal Haasan won Best Villain for his role in Kalki 2898 AD, while Amitabh Bachchan received Best Supporting Actor for the same film. Devi Sri Prasad was honored as Best Music Composer for Pushpa 2. Ramajogayya Sastry won Best Lyric Writer for Chuttamalle from Devara.

Kandukoori Shankar Babu secured Best Male Playback Singer for Peelings from Pushpa 2, and Shilpa Rao won Best Female Playback Singer for Chuttamalle from Devara. Teja Sajja was awarded Best Actor (Critics) for HanuMan, while Meenakshi Chaudhary won Best Actress (Critics) for Lucky Baskhar. Prasanth Varma received Best Director (Critics) for HanuMan. Sandeep Saroj won Best Debut Actor for Committee Kurollu, Bhagyashree Borse took Best Debut Actress for Mr. Bachchan, and Niharika Konidela was honored as Best Debut Producer for Committee Kurollu.
