Renowned actress Bhavana Ramanna has become a mother to a girl child via IVF. The delivery took place two weeks ago, and both the mother and the baby are currently healthy. However, one of the twins passed away, while the other is in good health. As per medical advice, the delivery was conducted at eight months due to complications that arose with one of the twins after seven months.

Bhavana Ramanna took a courageous step to pursue motherhood as an unmarried woman. Although this decision sparked many questions, she has stated that she provided appropriate responses to them. Recently, a traditional baby shower (Seemantha) was held at her home in the presence of close friends and family.

Active on social media, Bhavana frequently shares personal updates with her fans. She previously surprised her followers by posting about her pregnancy.

In her post, she wrote, “New Chapter, A New Rhythm. I never imagined I’d be saying this — but here I am, six months pregnant with twins, and filled with gratitude.”

“In my 20s and 30s, motherhood wasn’t on my mind. But when I turned 40, the desire was undeniable. As a single woman, the road wasn’t easy — many IVF clinics rejected me outright,” Bhavana explained.

“Then I met Dr. Sushma at Rainbow Hospital, Bannerghatta Road, Bengaluru, who welcomed me with warmth and zero judgment. With her support, I conceived in my very first attempt. My father, siblings, and loved ones stood by me with pride and love. Some questioned my choice — but I knew in my heart: I was ready,” she added.

“My children may not have a father, but they’ll grow up in a home filled with art, music, culture, and unconditional love. They will be nurtured to take pride in themselves and grow with confidence. I didn’t choose this path to rebel — I chose it to honor my truth,” Bhavana clarified.
