he Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the Dharmasthala Burude case has escalated its efforts. Although reports surfaced about the discovery of bone remains in Banglegudde forest, the SIT has not yet confirmed this finding. In connection with the case, the SIT has issued a notice to Manaf, a Kerala-based lorry owner, to appear for questioning with documents, following his alleged false accusations against the Dharmasthala shrine on YouTube.
Similarly, the SIT is planning to issue a notice to Santosh Kumar, a Kerala CPM MP accused of having ties with the Burude gang, to appear for questioning. On Saturday night, the SIT interrogated Soujanya’s supporters, Jayanth, Girish Mattennavar, and YouTuber Abhishek, issuing notices for them to reappear for further questioning.
No interrogations took place on Sunday due to it being a holiday. On Saturday night, the SIT also questioned Vithala Gowda and his associate Pradeep Gowda, conducting a spot inspection and gathering crucial information related to the skull. Vithala Gowda has reportedly admitted during the SIT probe that he retrieved the skull from Banglegudde forest.
