BJP State President B.Y. Vijayendra has stated that under this government, Hindu festivals and processions cannot be conducted peacefully. He pointed out that similar incidents have taken place in other districts such as Dharwad, Bagalkote, Hubli, and Sagara, where Ganapati idols were reportedly desecrated. He warned that if the government does not take strict action against the perpetrators, the people of Karnataka will teach the Congress a lesson.

In the wake of the stone-pelting incident that occurred during a Ganesh Visarjan procession in Maddur town, Mandya district, a state delegation from the Karnataka Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to visit the area tomorrow. The purpose of the visit is to assess the post-incident situation and expose the government's failures directly to the people of Maddur.

However, Congress leaders have mocked the BJP's announcement, claiming that the party engages in politics in every matter. It is reported that BJP Karnataka State President B.Y. Vijayendra will lead tomorrow's delegation, accompanied by prominent party leaders including C.T. Ravi, Arvind Bellad, Yelahanka MLA R. In the backdrop of the clashes, Hindu community organizations had announced a protest for tomorrow but have withdrawn it for certain reasons. Instead, a bandh has been declared in Maddur tomorrow, as per reports.
