The strained relationship between Ashneer Grover and Salman Khan is well-known to everyone. Both have previously expressed dissatisfaction with each other's behavior. Recently, while discussing his new reality show 'Rise and Fall', Ashneer Grover has given an indirect jibe at Salman Khan.
Although Ashneer did not directly name Salman Khan or 'Bigg Boss 19', it was clear that his words were aimed at the Bollywood superstar and his controversial reality show. "Reality shows should be about the contestants. Unfortunately, in India, there is one big show with a big superstar.
"And therefore, it has become more about him than the contestants. But the truth is, who is putting in more time? You come for one weekend. The ones working 24 hours are the contestants," Ashneer said. "The balance of power should return to the contestants and the content that comes from them. No one who comes on the weekend should hijack it," he added.

The feud between Ashneer Grover and Salman Khan began when Ashneer recalled an incident related to Salman Khan in one of his previous interviews. During a sponsored ad shoot, when Salman's manager said the superstar wouldn't take a photo with him, Ashneer said he met the actor.

"I have met Salman Khan. We had him as a sponsor, so I met him for his shoot. I met him before the shoot to brief him about the company. I sat with him for three hours, then his manager said, 'Sir doesn't agree to photos, he feels bad about it.' Then I said, 'Listen, I won't take a photo, you go to hell. I mean, what kind of heroism is this?'" Ashneer said.
Then in 2024, when Ashneer appeared as a guest on 'Bigg Boss 18', he took Salman Khan to task and questioned him about his previous controversial statements. The Bollywood superstar mocked Grover and advised him to be careful about what he says or how he presents himself.
