The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for 11 districts of Karnataka, namely Haveri, Dharwad, Gadag, Koppal, Raichur, Yadgir, Kalaburagi, Bidar, Vijayapura, Bagalkote, and Belagavi, with a possibility of rain accompanied by thunderstorms

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for 11 districts of Karnataka, namely Haveri, Dharwad, Gadag, Koppal, Raichur, Yadgir, Kalaburagi, Bidar, Vijayapura, Bagalkote, and Belagavi, with a possibility of rain accompanied by thunderstorms. Bengaluru and surrounding areas are expected to experience a partly cloudy atmosphere with light rain in the next 24 hours, with a maximum temperature of 28°C and a minimum of 21°C. Coastal districts are likely to see light rain today.

Heavy rain or thunderstorms are possible in the northern interior districts of Bagalkote, Belagavi, and Vijayapura. Moderate rain or thunderstorms are likely in several places in Bidar, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Kalaburagi, Koppal, Raichur, and Yadgir.

In southern interior districts, including Ballari, Bengaluru, Chamarajanagar, and Chikkaballapura, light to moderate rain is expected. Some districts may experience moderate rainfall.
