During site inspection, it was confirmed by the Deputy Director of Land Records, Bengaluru North Taluk, and Yelahanka Taluk, that the said land belongs to the railway along the boundary road. Representatives of Bagmane Developers were also present at the time, and they were informed about the encroachment. Boundary stones have been placed on the encroached land.

In connection with the Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project's Corridor 2, approximately 500 meters of barren land belonging to the railway, located along the boundary of about 20 guntas of land between Makal Channenahalli village in Bengaluru North Taluk and Peenya Plantation village in Yelahanka Taluk, which is required for the alignment, has been cleared of encroachment. The District Collector of Bengaluru Urban District had convened a meeting on September 20, 2025, to facilitate the encroachment removal process. During this meeting, the Special Deputy Collector for K-RIDE, the Tahsildar of Yelahanka Taluk and Bengaluru North Taluk, the Deputy Director of Land Records for Bengaluru North Taluk and Yelahanka Taluk, the Project Manager for Corridor-2, staff from the Railway Department, and police personnel from Jalahalli were in attendance.
