Bengaluru: A woman was brutally stabbed in broad daylight at the Sunkadakatte bus stop in Bengaluru on Monday morning, causing alarm among residents. The victim, identified as Rekha, was allegedly attacked by an acquaintance named Lokesh, who fled the scene immediately after the incident.
The attack took place around 11:35 AM following a heated argument between the two. Witnesses reported that Rekha and Lokesh, who were known to each other, were involved in a verbal spat near the bus stop. Passersby and local residents rushed to the aid of the critically injured woman and helped transport her to a nearby hospital. Kamkashipalya police have registered a case and are investigating the matter. A team of officers visited the scene to gather evidence and have launched a manhunt to apprehend the accused.
